**About the opportunity**

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Store Planner to join our Property team here at our Customer Support Centre based in Walsall. Our Stores are one of our most valuable assets and our Space planning department play a pivotal role in optimizing the performance of the Store estate.

As a Senior Store Planner, you will be a part of the Store Planning department (Property Services) reporting directly to the Format Development & Store Planning Manager.

The Senior Store Planner will work cross functionally across commercial, retail, business transformation and property teams to create and maintain our equipment layouts across our growing Store Estate.

The location will be based at our CSC, Walsall and offers a hybrid working pattern, with the opportunity to study towards an apprenticeship qualification.

**What you'll be doing**
- Delivering new store opening plans on time and to relevant stake holders
- Maintaining new store opening trackers and ensuring all information is up to date
- Delivering business improvement programmes from equipment process to final plans
- Building relationships with Retail teams through regular reviews
- Communicating with project managers and NSO Teams to ensure Macro Plan Compliance
- Site visits and signing off execution plans in store, resolving any issues along the way
- Leading and ensuring any store refits are landed in accordance to our planning principles

**What you'll need**
- Experience of working in a retail environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Working knowledge of Auto Cad and/or Space planning software
- The ability to work logically, consistently and accurately.
- Strong attention to detail

Within the UK Poundland has also rolled out its fashion brand PEP&CO to approximately 300 of its larger stores. PEP&CO, launched in 2015 as a standalone brand, offers customers a full range of women’s, men’s and kids’ fashion and is now bringing new style to Poundland with simple low pricing on family fashion that’s hard to find on local high streets.

PEP&CO was also nominated in the 2019 Retail Week Awards as Private Label of The Year.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £28,000.00 per year
