We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen for a **Building Safety Coordinator **to join our close-knit, welcoming Building Safety team. You will be flexible and able to respond to changing work priorities at pace, which will allow you to develop your Building & Fire Safety skills and knowledge. In all that you do you will be proactive, innovative, and focused on delivering, as well as able to plan and prioritise your work.

You will be working in our **Fire Risk and Assurance Team**.

Some key duties will include:

- Assisting in managing and actioning incoming enquiries including Fire & Rescue Service, fire actions, fire incidents, PCFRAs and PEEPs.
- Managing day to day running of mailboxes and ensure inquiries and requests are promptly responded to and demonstrates a high level of customer service.
- Providing administrative support to the Fire Risk and Assurance Team, including scheduling meetings, coordinating operational activities, issuing communications.
- Maintaining and updating our resident and property databases including our fire compliance portal Risk Hub.

**The role is hybrid with a minimum of 2 days in the office.**

**What you’ll need**
- A strong administration background.
- The ability to communicate answers and solutions confidently to customers/colleagues, face to face, by phone and by writing in customer friendly language.
- You'll be pragmatic with a creative approach to problem solving and can quickly identify and evaluate problems to reach a solution.
- The ability to manage a flexible and demanding workload to meet agreed targets and deadlines.
