**Job Overview**:
The Arm Partner Training team works in conjunction with Arm support engineers to provide technical training to Arms global partners. This training helps Arm’s partners to adopt and use Arm technology in their designs and helps reduce their time to market Training is delivered onsite, via video conferencing and on demand videos. This role works reports into the senior instructional designer and is responsible to re-purposing previously recorded live training as well as helping to craft and produce new content.

**Responsibilities**:
The instructional designer works with the Director of Partner Training and the Senior Instructional Designer to agree learning topics that meet customers’ needs. Their responsibilities are to:

- Work with our Application Engineers Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design the structure of courses set learning objectives /outcomes, storyboard modules, and produce assessment activities.
- Guide the Application Engineer SMEs in their capturing and drafting of the source materials.
- Use the Arm Online Learning PowerPoint Template, Camtasia, and the LMS assessment. functionality to produce audio-visual learning content in-line with Arm Online Learning Guidelines.
- Gain sign off from Application Engineers and reviewers for the learning content.
- Coordinate and produce voice-over narration to accompany video content.
- Work with the Corporate Marketing approved graphics team to obtain icons and photos to illustrate the training.

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Skilled in instructional design and rapid eLearning authoring.
- Experience with eLearning development tools such as TechSmith Camtasia to produce high quality and consistent micro mobile learning video content.
- Skilled in taking sophisticated technical topics and breaking them down into understandable and relevant content.
- Accurate with good attention to detail.
- Ability to handle & coordinate multiple development tasks at a time.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
- A good team-player, able to collaborate but also able to work well independently.

**“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience**:
Having experience with Learning Management Systems is desirable, as is having Mandarin speaking and written language skills. Familiarity with the Asana Project Management tool would also be an advantage.
