We are looking for a friendly, reliable and organised individual to join our administrative team within the busy Gastrointestinal Suspected Cancer Service.
You should have excellent communications skills, be effective in working closely with clinical and non-clinical staff and have a flexible and patient centered approach. You should also have previous admin experience and be able to organise and prioritise your own workload.
Main duties of the job
You will be responsible for managing the referrals that come through to the GI Suspected Cancer Service. Other duties include booking appointments, typing clinical correspondence, spread sheet and diary management, recording annual leave, dealing with telephone enquiries, day-to-day supervision of the support administrator’s tasks, and active involvement in process improvements
