We are looking for a (Hydrogen) Sales Specialist with strong engagement skills and a strategic mindset to lead ICIS’ development in the (Hydrogen) market. You will partner with the commercial teams to forge relationships with key customers in these markets and increase our visibility in the segment. As an expert in this field your role will be to work with Account Managers and Business Development Managers to identify key areas of opportunity, engage with customers on their strategy, gain a deep understanding of the problems customers need to solve, test and improve adoption of solutions and formulate strategies for developing the market.

To succeed in the role, you will have an excellent understanding of customers in relation to their (Hydrogen) strategic objectives and challenges and strong commercial acumen. The ability to work well with commercial teams is critical as the role has a wide scope of responsibility and cross-functional touch points.

Key Accountabilities:

- Engage senior level influencers and decision-makers to stimulate demand, demonstrate ICIS expertise and significantly grow account value and customer satisfaction in (Hydrogen)
- Work collaboratively with the commercial teams to win business specific to (Hydrogen) segment ensuring commercial excellence to capture market share and deliver customer value
- Be a trusted partner to our clients and prospects advising on the best strategies to address common challenges they face in relation to (Hydrogen)
- Build a strong profile for ICIS in the (Hydrogen/) segment by connecting with customers
- Educate sales, marketing and other functions on customer perspective and key industry trends in (Hydrogen)
- Coordinating the deployment of wider ICIS resource into areas of best impact to execute on market strategy ensuring that supporting resources are effectively engaged to grow the segment
- Increase both customer and employee satisfaction, engagement, loyalty, innovation, and revenue.
- Increase the collective company intelligence on customer workflow, market trends and competitive activity to drive customer satisfaction and revenue growth.

Skills and Behaviours:

- Experience in a sales, client engagement, commercial or leadership function within (Hydrogen)
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing market participants relating to (Hydrogen)
- Experienced in partnering with Sales, Marketing and Product to develop and maximise commercial, strategic and relationship building opportunities
- A strong track record of driving growth to exceed financial and other business objectives in complex organisations
- Track record of successful engagement of industry executives and developing long term commercial and strategic relationships
- Passionate about a world-class customer experience
- Champion diversity and representation across as well as leading proactive succession planning and talent management to improve customer outcomes
- Curious about everything, willing to ask questions and challenge the status quo to provide better customer and business outcomes
- Strategic mindset coupled with strong commercial acumen, experience in advising on growing key segments
- Strong in-person, virtual, video and written presentation skills with the capability to communicate complex information in a simple, relevant and concise ways
- Ability to work across geographies and cross-functionally to deliver complex customer engagements
- Experienced in educating customers, sales, internal stakeholders on industry trends and best practices
