We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join the Clinical Administration Team, responsible for the day to day running of the surgery and first point of contact for patients and visitors.

The duties of the Clinical Administrator role include (but are not restricted to):

- Providing an effective and efficient reception service to patients and any other visitors to the practice.
- Booking appointments and dealing with other general patient enquiries, face to face and via the telephone.
- Answering incoming phone calls, dealing with patient queries, providing care navigation advice where appropriate and taking messages, ensuring accuracy of detail and prompt delivery.
- Completing other administration work, e.g. chasing hospital results/appointments.
- Coding and summarising experience preferred but not essential.

Rota: Hours to be discussed

**Salary**: £10.65

- Staff employed by the surgery are expected to be registered as patients at other GP practices to avoid an employer / doctor / patient conflict of interest. Successful applicants currently registered as a patient with Stow Surgery will be asked to register at another practice when employment begins.
