**The admin team are the first port of call when visiting The Disraeli School. We are looking for a cheerful, polite, proactive individual to join our busy team.**

**This is an essential Admin role in the school with responsibility for Admissions and Attendance as well as to providing efficient administrative support to the whole staff team.**

**We welcome visits to our school.**

**Term time only**:No, inset days and two weeks during the holidays

**Salary Type**:Bucks pay

**Salary details**:Pay range 4 £25,756 Pro Rata

**Hours**:Monday 8:00am-4:30pm, Tuesday to Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 8:00am-4:00pm

**About the role**:
**Key duties**:

- Ensure all visitors and stakeholders receive a warm welcome to our school
- Complete administration task as directed by the line manager
- Contribute towards the administration systems, producing reports and record keeping including the use of Microsoft word, excel
spreadsheets, databases and IT packages including SIMS and FMS
- To comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection, health, safety and security, confidentiality and data protection, reporting
all concerns to an appropriate person

**Responsibilities for attendance include to**:
Input attendance data and investigate any missing data, including unexplained lesson absences

Maintain accurate attendance records, both electronically and hard copies (as required)

Make initial enquiries with parents/carers regarding unexplained absences/lateness including first day calling

Monitor the attendance of students referring concerns to the Pastoral Leader and DSL’s

Promote good attendance within the school

Process and action student holiday requests

Issue routine correspondence to parents/carers regarding attendance/absence requests in accordance with the school procedure

Complete the school with the administration of referrals to the education welfare service/issuing of penalty notices (when required)

To undertake routine liaison with external agencies regarding attendance - eg EWO/Attendance Services

To collate attendance data producing routine reports and prepare statistical returns regarding attendance and submit to reporting bodies
where appropriate

Liaise with school leaders/Attendance Manager over attendance concerns.

Be responsible for identifying attendance issues and patterns of absence/late arrivals

Liaise with external agencies over persistent absence or other attendance issues. Attend meetings with external agencies and parents as
required

**Responsibilities for admissions to include**:

- Be point of contact for LA’s admission team
- Ensure all prospective parents receive the appropriate information to enable the smooth admission of their child to our school
- Liaise with the staff to ensure they are aware of and have the information for all new admissions in a timely manner
- Maintain an accurate database and paper records
