We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate Marketing Executive to join our Student Recruitment and External Relations department.

They will work directly with the Marketing Operations Manager, Head of Department/School and Curriculum Area Managers in order to deliver activity which ensures a strong public profile and robust level of student recruitment each year.

They will also be responsible for sharing best practice throughout the team and working on a range of cross college projects as required.

**Responsibilities include**:

- To be a single point of contact for curriculum for all elements for marketing including digital, print, events and PR
- Provide marketing expertise in the development of marketing plans, promotional literature and advertising
- To help co-ordinate curriculum recruitment activity with the SEO team which is designed to generate recruitment
- To be proactive in establishing new ways of promoting the College to the key target markets (16-18s, adults, university level students, the unemployed, businesses and other identified college segments)
- With the support of the wider team, execute the department-based plans in consultation with corporate Director of Student Recruitment and Marketing Operations Manager.
- The post holder will be proactive in generating engaging content of department activity in order to produce relevant stories for the press and social media.
- To liaise with the College designers and act as one of the copywriters within the college for advertisements, general publications and press releases.
- To help other parts of the team in developing materials which will promote the College, e.g., centre brochures and presentation materials to be used at shows and conferences.

**Education & Training**
- GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in Maths or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
- GCSE 4 - 9 or equivalent level 2 qualification in English or be prepared to pass a test prior to interview to demonstrate level 2 ability and then if appointed achieve within an agreed timescale
- Business Studies or Marketing Degree or HND or equivalent; Driving Licence and use of car for business purposes

**Experience**
- Experience of Marketing/PR /Events coordination
- Planning multi-channel campaigns
- Working in an account management/client liaison capacity role
- Good working knowledge of budgets, printing, photography and advertising techniques and the educational system is desirable
