The Clinical Leadership and Innovation Directorate harnesses clinical and multi-professional leadership to improve outcomes and value for the population of Mid and South Essex. We do this by ensuring our services are both integrated and equitable.

The Directorate is charged with putting clinical and multi-professional leadership at the heart of our system. This means that our health and care performance benefits from the active support and participation of staff within the ICS as part of their day-to-day work. It is responsible for the delivery, mental health and babies, children and young people function, this includes ensuring smooth delegation of specialised commissioning, providing the statutory commissioning function for the ICB and working in partnership with others to ensure responsibilities for Transforming Care, Neurodiversity and Children Mental Health whilst commissioned through arrangements with other organisations have clear reporting and accountability to the Directorate and ICB. The ICS has committed to developing our clinical and care leadership while adopting a Stewardship approach to improving the care we provide.

Stewardship means bringing together the expertise of clinical and multi-professional leaders within a care area to get the best value from our collective system resources, in line with Triple Value aims, ultimately influencing our entire health and care provision. The Directorate will support the system by preparing the ground for the adoption of theStewardship Approach as well as managing the transition including ongoing pathwaydevelopment, specialist commissioning activities and change-making within current BAUactivity. It will then transform our system by managing our health and care resources through the formation of and delivery by stewardship groups. Responsibility for this will be heldbetween the Delivery and Stewardship functions working in a dynamic, hand-in-glovematrix manner.

The Senior Administrator provides support to the Leadership and Value Based Care Directorate. It involves providing high quality administrative support to the team, ensuring effective delivery of programmes of work and supporting key meetings and projects. It involves working closely with senior officers and clinicians across the directorate. COMPETENCY BASED KEY DELIVERABLES Provide specialist co-ordination/administration support and advice to the team including the duties listed below: Responsible for creation of project/programme documentation for the team Responsible for the monitoring of projects/programmes and escalating exceptions to management.

Acting as a point of contact for team, dealing and responding effectively with complex queries from stakeholders and passing on relevant information to appropriate team members sensitively and autonomously Assist in the coordination and administration of receiving progress reporting data, and inputting, monitoring and checking data where required. Running and collating reports from databases as and when required Developing and maintaining effective electronic and paper filing systems, to ensure that information is kept securely and is accessible to other members of the team Using online systems/databases where appropriate including for research and information. Create high quality documents including keying in and amending data on spreadsheets, updating relevant information systems To assist with the analysis of information in support of the team activity to inform decision making and to monitor progress. To assist in the ongoing design, support and maintenance of the business processes of the team and its interface with other ICB services.

Developing processes and information systems to help ensure compliance in the ICB and liaising with senior staff at sites across the ICB to collect data. Assurance that risk and issue logs are maintained for all projects and programmes, updated regularly and priority risks are escalated as required. Organising, planning and participating in events as necessary, providing any supporting information material and liaising with external partners. Attend any internal / external committees or meetings as required.

Participate in relevant internal and external working groups/stakeholder events to provide information advice and support and to maintain data collection systems for its effective use by the team. Working together with other administrators wit
