ROLE PURPOSE / SUMMARY The Mid and South Essex Integrated Care System will comprise the Integrated Care Board (ICB), which is the statutory body for the NHS, and the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP), which is a committee of the ICB, and brings together key health, care, community, and voluntary sector organisations across the area. The ICS has a bold ambition to deliver improved outcomes for our 1.2m population through our four Alliances, and we are placing clinical and professional leadership and the voice of our residents at the heart of realising this ambition. The MH BCYP Team Administrator will be integral to supporting the delivery of the core purpose of the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams to improve outcomes by providing the statutory commissioning function for the ICB. The post holder will be supporting two teams who have clearly defined programmes of work and will be required to manage their own workload across both teams effectively.
The role will assist the MH BCYP Specialist Administrator in providing administrative support for the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams in providing the statutory commissioning function for the ICB and ensure the delivery of transformational change through effective commissioning. COMPETENCY BASED KEY DELIVERABLES Responsible for decisions made during the course of duties, seeking guidance and escalating issues where appropriate Assist with the delivery of project plans and workstreams, as directed by line manager and raising any issues with delivery to line manager Provide administrative support to meetings, committees, and work groups across the Mental Health and Babies, Childrens, and Young People portfolios Managing own workload whilst working across two teams and escalating any issues appropriately Responsible for collating accurate and timely minutes to meetings, putting together action plans from these meetings, circulating papers to members and implementing a system of reminders and escalation to ensure actions are completed in a timely manner Manage a programme of timely development of agendas and requesting supporting papers for a variety of meetings Required to support less experienced team members and demonstrate how to perform tasks within the remit of their role Responsible for the monitoring of one or more budgets Provides effective, efficient, and comprehensive administrative support to the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams Seeks best value for money within own area of work. Assist in the support of the Mental Health and Babies, Children and Young People Teams in providing the statutory commissioning function for the ICB and ensure the delivery of transformational change of services To assist with the coordination of reports for Committees and Board Attend and participate in any delegated meetings Be responsible for collecting data, and measuring quality results
