OVERVIEW:
The role is responsible for the Strategic management of the Business Estate, focusing on the Facilities and Asset Management of a number of buildings and facilities including multiple business centres, Head Office and other legacy properties and land. The rolewill provide a holistic approach to the management of the Facilities and Assets for the business.
Our Client is looking for an experienced professional who will be responsible for setting the strategy for Facilities and Asset Management with oversight of the lifecycle management strategy, ensuring that assets across the estate meet statutory compliancerequirements. You will identify innovation and continuous improvement to service delivery to enhance performance and achieve standard effectively.
You will have a proven track record of leadership across large dispersed and mixed age estates, and able to bring an in-depth knowledge of pre-planned preventative maintenance at scale for a range of building asset types, as well as being experienced in leadingfacilities teams and contracts across multiple properties or projects, with demonstrable knowledge and understanding of property statutory compliance.
You will drive deliverable outcomes throughout the asset lifecycle, promoting efficient service delivery at pace. Capable of prioritising key areas for investment and with strong influencing skills, you will be confident building relationships internally andexternally with the ability to demonstrate effective leadership, excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

THE ROLE:
Lead the facilities management and provision of services (delivered by third parties where appropriate)
You will take responsibility for the implementation of Health and Safety, quality and environmental policies, processes and procedures ensuring compliance with all legislation and company policies and procedures.
You will take responsibility for the Facilities Management annual and lifecycle budgets, ensuring the efficient and effective management of and proper accounting for delegated financial resource.
You will ensure commercial value is driven from the estate where possible.
Lead the delivery of the Facilities Management (FM) services, including identifying opportunities that will continuously improve all aspects of the FM operations.
Manage the overall annual Capex/FMR planning for the Estate, ensuring works are prioritised and costed in order of priority/criticality
Ensure that appropriate systems and management controls are in place across the estate to demonstrate an adhere to relevant Health & Safety Legislation
Review and audit of all policies, procedures, risk assessment and method statements, where required in order to demonstrate full operational procedures are followed.
Production of monthly performance reports to senior officers detailing statutory compliance and remedial works status, accident statistics & trends, current business risks and mitigation in order to demonstrate compliance with legislation and to allow businessdecisions to be made.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders, including Business Operations, Finance, Procurement and Customer Services to influence decision making and ensure a transparent and compliant service.
Provide leadership and management, through regular supervision, support, enabling the development of a cohesive and high performing facilities and assets team.
Develop in conjunction with the legal and marketing team, strategies to attract new tenant and buyers to properties, helping to maximise financial and investment opportunities
THE CANDIDATE:
Educated to degree level or equivalent
Higher level qualification in Facilities or Asset Management or related discipline
NEBOSH General Certificate
Membership of the IWFM
Evidence of continued professional development (CPD)
An excellent working knowledge of all aspects of property and facilities management with the ability to translate this into innovative business plans and strategy
An excellent working knowledge of Health and Safety Management systems, statutory and regulatory requirements including Management of Health & Safety at Work, Workplace, PUWER, LOLER, Manual Handling, Building and CDM Regulations
