**B&CM Leadership**

As a key member of the Brands & Consumer Markets leadership team, contribute to the overall strategic direction and the setting of the commercial objectives whilst ensuring that proper account is taken of people considerations.

Develop and execute a people strategy which enables the B&CM commercial strategy; supporting both the short and long term aims of the business across all markets.

Support and challenge the B&CM leadership team by coaching and advising on people matters.

**Developing Strategically Aligned HR Solutions**

Be accountable for the strategic workforce plan for B&CM considering current capabilities and future requirements and developing and executing a detailed plan of how achieve the desired future state. This includes our approach to resourcing and capability building (including digital skills).

Lead a strong and capable HR team, ensuring that appropriate business partnering capability is in place to effectively enable the Brands & Consumer Markets teams.

**Talent, Capability & Organisational Design**

Ensure robust talent and succession plans are in place and regularly reviewed with successors in place for all critical roles across all markets.

Ensure B&CM acquire and develop retail luxury business to consumer (B2C) capability and that colleagues develop skills aligned to our evolving needs.

Ensure there is a clear articulation of job roles, authorities and accountabilities, together with agreed performance measures.

Ensure the organisational structure is optimised; people headcount and budget requirements are met; and that the structure is continuously reviewed to ensure it is fit for purpose and providing significant return on our workforce investment.

**Leading Transformation & Change**

Identify, lead and deliver people related complex transformation projects aligned to the needs of B&CM.

Accountable for implementing change in relation to the organisational HR model and De Beers wide people initiatives within B&CM.

Support and enable transformation and change activities in the wider B&CM context, acting as an ambassador for change as part of the B&CM senior leadership team.

**Colleague Engagement & Experience**

Ensuring a clear and measurable approach to developing colleague engagement and uses colleague insight to developing people activities and solutions which foster a culture of engagement.

Develop and deploy a “Workforce of the Future” approach which focuses on where, how and when work is done and considers and acts upon new and emerging colleague expectations, i.e., agile working, remote working, work-life blend, etc.

Develop a data and insight led approach to people decision making including a people dashboard which informs the B&CM leadership team of the latest people trends and recommendations on potential approaches and solutions.

**Leveraging HR Expertise**

Work with De Beers Group Head of Reward to review, develop and recommend a fit-for-purpose approach to Reward & Recognition to ensure optimal enablement of the B&CM strategy.

Work with De Beers Group Head of HR Operations to agree, manage and monitor an appropriate HR service delivery model (inc. systems and processes) as the purchaser/ recipient of HR Operational Support services for the B&CM.

Work with De Beers Group Head of Talent to create an appropriate model to support talent development, career paths and mobility to support a high performing organization.
