**Front Desk Receptionist / Medical Administrator: Private Podiatry Practice**

We seek an experienced Front Desk Receptionist/Medical Administrator to join our Patient Care Team in our busy private Podiatry clinic.
For the past 13 years, we have grown into a well-established clinic in Dundee. Our friendly team is passionate about changing people’s lives through healthy, pain-free, and beautiful feet.
We are fast-paced and looking for someone who enjoys a challenge and can hit the ground running from day one.

You excel at building and nurturing customer relationships by delivering excellent service.

**About Your Personal Qualities**:
You are a friendly and welcoming face for our patients when they arrive at the practice or call with an enquiry.
You guide patients towards the most appropriate services by staying up-to-speed with The Foot Expert Clinic’s range of specialist podiatry appointments and treatments.
You are attentive, always focused on the patient’s needs, and efficient, organised, and ‘on the ball’ to ensure all front desk admin tasks are smoothly handled. You love a challenge and remain calm and in control.
Your positive and infectious personality and team spirit, create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in the practice.
If you thrive on meeting new people, putting them at ease, and providing them with a memorable experience while handling various tasks simultaneously, then this is the role for you.

**What Your Typical Day Will Involve**:
Your focus is to provide exceptional service and the best care possible to our patients as an important link between them and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our patients and the practice team is critical to your success.
**Your Responsibilities Will Include**:
- Patient Welcome and Check-In
- Offering patients support and guidance with treatment options
- Appointment Scheduling
- Billing & Payments
- Maintaining confidential patient records
- Writing referral letters and patient summaries
- Addressing patient concerns or issues with empathy and efficiency
- Managing stock control and placing orders
- Calendar management
- Sterilisation of medical instruments using an autoclave
- Assisting with cleaning duties to ensure all areas are kept tidy and welcoming
- Adhering to clinic protocols and policies
- Contributing to marketing content
**Additional Responsibilities**:
- Managing supplier invoices, travel, accommodation, and expenses bookings, and reconciling petty cash
- Managing building maintenance
- Project work to improve patient experience and service delivery

**Hours of Work (30 Hours)**:
30 hours between Monday - Friday, although additional hours may be offered depending on business requirements. Typically, you would be expected to work across four days.
