Montpelier's is looking for a motivated individual to join their innovative and progressive company. In this role you will be responsible for creating visual concepts, designs, and layouts for various marketing materials, such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website banners, and other promotional materials. You will work closely with the marketing and senior team to understand the project requirements, target audience, and brand guidelines. You will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling marketing materials that effectively communicate the company's brand message and engage the target audience.

**Main Responsibilities**:
Ø Developing creative and innovative design concepts that align with the company's brand identity and marketing objectives.

Ø Collaborating with the marketing team to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audience.

Ø Creating visually appealing and engaging designs for various marketing materials, ensuring consistency in brand messaging and visual elements.

Ø Utilising graphic design software and tools to create and edit designs, illustrations, and layouts.

Ø Managing multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality designs.

Ø Staying updated with the latest design trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve design skills and knowledge.

Ø Maintaining a library of design assets, templates, and brand guidelines for easy access and consistency across all marketing materials.

Ø Collaborating with external suppliers, such as printers or photographers, to ensure the successful execution of design projects.

Ø Brief all managers re delivery of new print materials and ensure that the promotion / activity is managed as briefed.

Ø Manage venues re prints for all in house marketing materials in line with budget set by marketing manager.

Ø Assisting with other design-related tasks as needed, such as photo editing, retouching, and creating infographics.

**PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND COMPETENCIES**

Ø Proficiency in graphic design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).

Ø Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and layout composition.

Ø Excellent creativity and artistic skills to develop visually appealing designs.

Ø A team player, yet able to work independently and who works well under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Ø Proven success in campaign planning and execution.

Ø Proven ability to achieve financial goals through targeted marketing campaigns.

Ø Is flexible, goal directed and approaches all tasks with enthusiasm and integrity.

Ø Demonstrates strong organisational skills and attention to detail as well as an excellent understanding of the hospitality.

Ø Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and senior management.

Ø Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines.

Ø Knowledge of print production processes and specifications.

Ø Familiarity with web design principles and basic HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus.

Ø A portfolio showcasing previous design work and demonstrating a range of design skills and styles.

Ø Degree in Design preferred.
