Come and join our friendly Admin Team, based at Global House in Scunthorpe. The post holder will be responsible for a variety of admin and clerical processes within the Community & Therapies Administration Team, providing admin support to the Nursing and Therapies Teams.

This role will be supporting across all teams within Community & Therapies therefore cross-site working will be required between Global House, New Beacon House and Scunthorpe General Hospital as required.

The primary working hours for this post will be weekdays from 8.30 - 4.30pm, however the service operates from 7.00 - 9.15pm 7 days a week and therefore flexibility is essential to be able to cover where needed across these 7 days.

The post holder will work with their team delivering an effective and efficient administration service, to assist in the provision of quality patient care. This will include general clerical and administrative duties that facilitate the administrative elements of the entire patient pathway covering:

- Registering referrals
- Taking/making calls to patients
- Appointing patients and supporting the appointments process
- Retrieval of medical notes and results via SystmOne
- Input data into patient/client records
- Refer on/discharge (following clinical direction)

The post holder will have skills in all areas of administrative functions to enable them to support the patient pathway, using Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure that functions of the role are carried out correctly within given timescales.
