Due to a promotion within our Practice we are looking for an individual to join us as Head Receptionist. Our Practice is 11 years old and we currently have some of our team members that have been with since the beginning, our Reception Team is made up of 2 Receptionists and we are looking for the 3rd Member.
**What your typical day will look like**
- As Head Receptionist, you will oversee the reception team, ensuring daily tasks are completed in a timely manner, with protected admin time and making sure that a great level of customer service is maintained and delivered to all clients. You'll provide a link between clients and the clinical team.
- Your focus is to provide an exceptional service to our clients and the best care possible to their pets - providing a link between clients and the clinical team. Your ability to build strong relationships with our clients, their pets and the practice team will be critical to your success.
- Your great client service during a client’s visit will make sure that their absolute satisfaction is given, and that the client leaves knowing that they have received exceptional service and look forward to their next visit.
- You will greet each client and offer support, guidance, and expertise, managing payments and future bookings confidently. Coordinating the smooth running of the day-to-day routines of the practice will be done using our online booking system, so computer literacy is a must.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Team Leadership - oversee and guide the reception team to ensure daily task are completed efficiently and that high levels of customer service are consistently delivered together with mentoring, training and inductions for team members.
- Inventory Management - monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies and promotional materials, ensuring availability and readiness for use.
- KPI Management - collaborate with the Practice Manager and Head Nurse to drive key performance indications (KPIs) within the Practice.
- Exceptional Service - focus on providing an exceptional service to our clients and the highest quality of care to their pets, greeting each client warmly, offering support and guidance. Manage payments, booking appointments and oversee the smooth running of day to day routines using our digital booking system.
**Desired Skills**
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Previous reception experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer literacy and digital systems.
- A passion for animal care and a client-focused approach.
- Previous experience in a veterinary or healthcare setting is a plus.
This is a Full Time Role Working 4 full days (8.30am to 7pm) Wednesdays will be your day off and 1 in 3 Saturdays 9am to 12pm.
