Our client is a forward-thinking Accountancy firm, who are constantly looking for ways to embrace technology to increase efficiencies and provide a better service to their clients.

**Payroll Manager**

**Dorchester based**

**Full-time, Temporary contract, Fixed term contract**
**Contract length: 12 months**

**Salary: £30,000.00-£35,000.00 per year**

Duties include:

- Manage the payroll function including the payroll team
- Maintain payroll records
- Ensure processes and procedures follow current regulations
- Respond and resolve queries from clients relating to payroll
- Calculate wages and deductions
- Regular usage of payroll systems, including data compilation and input
- Liaison with HMRC and The Pensions Regulator
- Maintain the payroll function to ensure it continues to meet clients' needs
- Calculate pension, tax and NI commitments
- Set up and process new employees and administer accurate records for new starters and leavers
- Check hours and calculate overtime and holiday pay
- Process relevant paperwork
- Involvement with special situations such as maternity pay and bespoke pension schemes
- Assist the wider accounts team when needed
- Knowledge of benefits in kind to be able to complete Form P11d and P46(Car).

Salary is dependent on experience.
