Operations Executive

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Executive to join our team. As an Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our business. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively.
The Operations Executive will support the senior management team and take on office management tasks to ensure the smooth running of the Charity. The role will also support the board of trustees and senior and operational team administration tasks. The role is office based in Huntingdon with 1 day a week in Cambridge.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Supporting operations and assisting in charities’ projects administration
- Facilities management in Cambridge office to include dealing with tenants, hall hire and ensuring safety checks are complete
- Making sure maintenance schedules are adhered to and signage is correct
- Dealing with suppliers
- Filing documents for charity for compliance
- Basic finance admin to include purchase ledger and credit control
- Maintaining office spaces and liaising with landlords
- Stationery, supplies ordering
- To ensure receipts and backing documentation is obtained and filed ready for statutory audits
- Provide business/ admin support to charity’s Senior Management Team as required
- Secretary services to the Board
- Analyze data and generate reports as needed
- Other adhoc duties as required
**Person Specification**
- Strong administrative background: at least 2 years previous experience working in an office environment in a similar role
- Desire to train and develop in all areas of business administration as listed; ability to multitask
- Computer literacy, strong excel skills
- Ability to analyze data and generate meaningful reports
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Accuracy and attention to detail; due diligence
- Organised and self-motivated; happy to and successful in working with mínimal supervision
- Able to prioritise own work and deliver to tight deadlines
- Positive, can do attitude
- Strong team player
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 28 - 35 per week
