**My client are a global publishing organisation who are looking for an Event Administrator to join their vibrant and dynamic team**

**This is an amazing role starting immediately and working for 6 months. Previous event experience is key, and being able to liaise with various stakeholders, and external suppliers is essential**

**KEY TASKS/OBJECTIVES**:
**Event Content and Programme Development**
- Coordinate the speaker nomination, selection and confirmation process
- Develop and manage relationships with speakers, scheduling recording session and tech tests
- Manage and document the end-to-end customer journey for speakers
- Initiate, coordinate and participate in meetings with speakers and speaker management suppliers.
- Work closely with the virtual event production company and/or on-site logistics teams to ensure the smooth running of speaker programme
- Pre and post-event administration including contracting and invoicing processes

**Administration**
- Manage speaker budgets and sales tracking
- Manage the speaker contracting process
- Develop and maintain relevant databases of speakers, event schedules etc
- Support wider Commercial & Events team in processing invoices and POs, ensuring relevant ledgers are kept up-to-date and assisting with other tasks when required
- Manage the live events in-box, responding quickly and proficiently to customer queries

**Event Delivery**
- Work closely with the wider events team to ensure the smooth delivery of all events
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, resolving any issues swiftly and professionally

**Marketing support**
- Support the marketing team on an ad-hoc basis during busy periods. Tasks may include
- Helping to keep the website updated
- Posting on social media accounts
- Collating and managing PR cuttings file

**Personal Requirements**
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy
- Great Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Positive, enthusiastic approach and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent time management, organisation and prioritising skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent spelling, grammar, writing and communication skills.
- Team player, reliable, approachable, hard worker, flexible
