**Full job description**
**BS British Drain Ltd is a manufacturing company that is looking for a full-time bookkeeper with sound knowledge of a double entry system and a good command of using sage line 50 desktop version.**
**The Role**
- Manage the bookkeeping
- Review of VAT returns, bookkeeping files and supporting schedules.
- Ability to resolve internal and external queries arising from bookkeeping.
- Liaise with the company accountant in the preparation of management accounts
- Review timetables for timely bookkeeping/management accounts delivery
- Fulfill any relevant additional/ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to priorities and meet deadlines.

- Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required.
**Experienced in following accounting software**
- Excellent knowledge of Sage Line 50.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of Excel essential.
- Knowledge of other accounting software
**Salary**: £22,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
