The Rheumatology Department is looking for an experienced secretary to join its busy secretarial team. We are looking for someone with an approachable, helpful, flexible attitude who enjoys working as part of a team.

You should also have excellent communication skills, administrative and organisational skills and be able to produce accurate audio typing and respond to ad hoc queries and deadlines effectively

This is permanent post for 26 hours per week.
- To ensure a high standard of secretarial and administrative service is consistently delivered by undertaking all required tasks and activities on a daily basis
- To utilise the required technology including Big Hand, Evolve, Microsoft and any other new technology or system(s) that are introduced and support other team members to do so to deliver an efficient administrative and secretarial service.
- To recommend and support the implementation of service improvements to own and team working practice to improve workflow.
- To train and develop other team members to ensure competencies are developed, sustained and updated and to deliver the required administrative and secretarial service in a changing working environment
