HR Apprentice Recruitment Officer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Apprentice to join the Recruitment Team. This is 18 month fixed term contract.
As an apprentice with the Recruitment Team you will be supported to work towards gaining the skills and knowledge of a HR Recruitment Officer.
You will develop new skills and knowledge whilst working with an established team gaining valuable work experience and a recognised apprenticeship qualification.
Duties (performed under supervision)
Provide a high quality confidential and comprehensive recruitment and administrative service.
Collaborating with other members of the recruitment team as well as HR colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
Undertaking any other duties or projects related to recruitment and HR administration as required.
Identifying areas for improvement in the recruitment process and suggesting ways to streamline processes or enhance efficiency.

Probationary Period
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on new starters being properly welcomed and inducted into the Trust. All new starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks which will include mandatory training, systems training and the allocation of equipment. As part of the process new starters will have the opportunity to also meet the executive team, senior managers and attend a number of drop in sessions focusing in engagement, health and wellbeing and key processes. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex.
What does the apprenticeship involve?
This is a full time post of 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm. During your apprenticeship, you will be enrolled with an education provider and will be required to complete your Business Administration / HR Apprenticeship Level 3 within the duration of the placement. There will be a work-based structured learning programme to follow with support from your manager and mentor.

Business Administration Apprenticeship Standard Level 3 Certificate or HR Support Apprentice Level 3 (CIPD)
Level 1-2 Functional Skills in Maths and English (if no prior exemption)

You can hold a degree but not in the area of which the Apprenticeship aligns with
