Due to client growth our friendly Plymouth bookkeeping team are looking for a trainee to help strengthen their service. This apprenticeship is offered on a full-time basis and is a fantastic opportunity to start your bookkeeping journey.

**What you'll be doing day to day**:
Full training will be provided so you can:

- Process client records, bank reconciliations, entries for accruals, prepayments, wages, monthly management accounts
- Complete VAT returns and submissions
- Use computer software to record financial transactions, including Excel, Word, Cloud accounting software and other financial packages (training will be provided)
- Prepare financial information, reports and returns.

**About you**:

- You’ll be comfortable working with figures; accurate and understand the significance of calculations
- Great written and oral communication skills
- Problem solving abilities
- Computer literate, with an aptitude towards spreadsheets
- Some work experience in business or customer services is desirable, but an aptitude to the work is more important
- Have an eye for detail to make sure we eliminate errors and give accurate financial data
- Willing to embrace new technologies to improve client experiences and streamline procedures
