**Job Summary**
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Accounting Technician to join our Plymouth office. As a Trainee Accounting Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting our team in providing a range of accounting and taxation services to our clients.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare financial information, reports, and returns for a wide range of clients, including businesses and individuals.
- Use computer software to record financial transactions and prepare personal and company tax computations.
- Assist in information gathering to analyze and report income and expenditure to support decision-making, planning, and control.
- Support the team in providing bookkeeping services, including preparing and providing VAT returns.
**Requirements**
- Good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
- A strong track record of obtaining qualifications, often indicated by strong results in GCSEs, A-levels (or equivalent).
