MCL Logistics are recruiting for a Transport Administrator apprenticeship to join the team at our depot in Newport. The role will assist administration support to Transport planners. Talking to customers and drivers and helping to input jobs on the transport system.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to get into transport.

You will be IT literate, flexible with a helpful can do attitude. This would suit someone with the ability to work in a fast paced environment alone and as part of a team.
- Tracking shipments via internal systems to demonstrate control of deliveries of goods for customers.
- Working with Finance and processing invoices.
- Maintain and plan accurate safety inspection for trucks and trailers
- Coordinating consignments with customers and drivers
- Communicate daily with the drivers to ensure they are running to plan
- Working from daily requirement reports
- General administration duties as required
- Good working knowledge of Outlook, Word and Excel
