- Major Events Fundraising Assistant
- Permanent - Up to 37.5 hours per week
- £23,651 - £25,225 pro rata
- Pertemps Isle of Wight have an exciting opportunity for a Major Events Fundraising Assistant to join our client in Newport. This role will be offered on a permanent basis, to include up to 37.5 hours per week. As the successful events fundraising assistant, your main responsibility will include running the fundraising department, to achieve maximum income, as well as assisting in the delivery of all major events and activities.
- Day to day duties will include, but won't be limited to.- Supporting the delivery of the Major Event Fundraising programme whilst adhering to the targets and objectives of the overall strategy of the event.
- Helping prepare data for reports and plan events and post-activity evaluations.
- Being supportive in the preparation and delivery of marketing plans.
- Presenting digital marketing plans with the aim to maximise income and engagement preparing content.
- Help keep the supplies stocked, by being responsible for organising and purchasing equipment and supplies.
- Creating risk assessments and maintain the controls that are in place to maintain safety of the organisation.
- Co-ordinate recruitment initiatives to maximise the number of volunteers for each event.
- Manage specific elements of an event, such as entertainers, landowners or traders overseen by the Major Events Fundraiser.
- Help research potential and appropriate sponsors.
- Support relationship management of existing sponsors, partners, and donors.
- Maintain and input supporter records.
- To create stewardship plans, overseen by the Major Events Fundraiser, to ensure participants in major events are supported, motivated and nurtured.
- Preparation and administration of event related documents, files, supplier contracts and service level agreements.
- Making sure that general correspondence and enquiries about events are resolved.
- Supporting general daily enquiries in the office to include patients, staff and donors.
- Attending and supervising elements of events (on and off-site), as required.
