One of the most reputable law firms in Hertfordshire are currently recruiting for a Senior Claims Handler to join their team

The Senior Claims Handler is responsible for leading and overseeing the Enforcement/bulk claims handling team, ensuring efficient processing of high-volume claims while maintaining quality and adherence to company standards and regulatory guidelines. This pivotal role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of the claims process.

A minimum of at least 5 years experience gained within a similar role is essential and preferably within the Personal Injury/Litigation sector.

**Key Objectives**:

- Directly manage and lead a team of eight paralegals, ensuring they are trained, motivated, and high-performing;
- Monitor the processing of court claims, including processing times, accuracy rates, and client feedback;
- Responsible for establishing and achieving relevant operational KPIs and objectives that support the firms overall business strategies.

**Role and responsibilities**:

- Identify and report any functionality or other issues relating to the IT system, working with your line manager and the Managing Director to implement improvements to the system;
- Address any escalations or concerns relating to your team and provide resolutions in a timely manner;
- Build and maintain relationships with the firm’s clients;
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and identify training needs;
- Analyse current processes and implement strategies to increase efficiency and accuracy;
- Introduce technological solutions or tools that can aid in improving the current processes;
- Ensure that all cases in your team are processed accurately and efficiently;
- To undertake other duties commensurate to the role as may from time to time be required;
- Operating within agreed frameworks and budgeting parameters that are set in line with business strategies, to assist with the recruitment and selection of staff for the department, facilitating inductions in line with business onboarding policies.
