A key component of the MGA is the Chief Underwriting Office which provides underwriting and product governance support, technical underwriting/ binder expertise and actuarial services across a range of classes of business. The strength of the CUO’s governance and oversight programme is extremely important to us against the backdrop of an increasing regulatory environment around product and value.To support us on that mission, we are looking for a Underwriting Governance Analyst to join our team. This is a great opportunity for an already experienced individual within insurance who is looking to advance their career. We are looking for someone that is motivated, professional, with a high level of interpersonal skills and sound knowledge of Microsoftoffice in particular an experienced user of excel. In the role you will provide analyst support to the Underwriting Governance Team which includes completion of management and executive reports for a number of Committees, assessing Product Governance Lifecyclereviews, monitoring outstanding governance and internal / external audit actions, quality assurance oversight, binder and licence breach management and the maintenance of our Underwriting Governance Rulebook.

- An understanding of General Insurance and the Insurance market
- An understanding of the role that an MGA has in the Insurance market
- Knowledge of the current regulatory environment around product and fair value
- Knowledge of the working practices within an Underwriting business and trading platforms.
