We have an exciting opportunity to join our Money Advice Team at Citizens Advice Darlington Redcar & Cleveland working from centrally located offices in Darlington and/or Redcar. Our Money Advice Team is hardworking, dynamic and client focused with a track record of delivering high quality advice and exceeding funder targets.

As a fully accredited Debt Advice Caseworker you will be able to support and empower clients and negotiate with creditors on their behalf. You will assess the best strategies to support clients’ debt issues whilst providing budgeting advice and looking to maximise income. Providing a holistic advice service and facilitate clients to access support in any other areas of advice which they need.

You will need to demonstrate recent or ongoing experience in delivering debt advice to a high standard, including: managing a challenging caseload; well organised, self-motivated; excellent communication skills and a good understanding of general advice work.
