Shield Fire & Security Services has grown steadily over the past few years and has constantly adapted to meet the demands and changing practices of our sectors.
An exciting opportunity has become available to be part of Shield Fire & Security, as we have a full-time opening working across Access Control, CCTV, Fire Systems and Intruder Alarms.

Experience in Technical admin, monitoring and auditing work as well as having a level of competency in the following disciplines:

- Passive Fire Protection - recording and monitoring of the apps and paperwork.
- Fire doors - controlling the delivery inspections, stock controls checking and all processes involved in the handover stages on the app.

Identifying and arranging for corrective actions for the above items will be essential.

Experience in Technical admin, monitoring and auditing work as well as having a solid understanding of the following disciplines is advantageous:

- Fire Alarms - Addressable (Wireless & Wired System) & Conventional including graphics software
- Intruder Alarms
- CCTV Systems - IP Networking & Analog
- Access Control
- Have a broad understanding of the security industry
- Have good interpersonal skills - required to liaise with customers
- Fault find and repair fire & security systems
- Install new systems as required
- Oversee & plan works involved with a project

**Qualifications & Experience**:
Proven experience in the Fire & Security industry.

You must be able to show you can manage your time and work without close supervision.
- Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
- Project management and supervision skills
- Decision-making ability and leadership skills
- 5 years experience in the Fire & Security sector - **Essential**:

- A full driving licence and clear police checks/security screening are required.
- Have good interpersonal skills - when liaising with work colleagues and clients
