**Job Title**: Technical Financial Services Administrator

**Location**: Cardiff

**Benefits**:

**Salary**: Up to £29,000 ~ Depending On Experience

**About the Company**:
Our Client is a well-established financial advisor practice who deals with High Net worth clients.

They are now looking for an **experienced Technical Administrator** to join their existing established team.

You will be responsible for assisting the IFAs and Paraplanners with technical and administrative duties for a range of products.

**What Your Day to Day Duties Will Include**:

- Communicating with Paraplanners to keep up-to-date with new products, technical or legislative changes within the marketplace.
- Comply at all times with the firm’s Compliance; Training & Competence; Complaints and Data Security policies/procedures.
- To ensure that the firm’s clients are treated fairly at all times.
- To work as part of a team alongside the firm’s advisers, paraplanners and administrators to provide clients with a professional ongoing Financial Planning experience.

**To prepare and maintain client files**
- Once in receipt of a completed Data Capture Form, collate all the relevant quantitative detailed information required to compile a financial services report.
- Ensure a fee is agreed between Adviser and Client.
- Ensure letter of engagement is issued to client.
- Check all paperwork/information is available in order that the client’s file meets the FCA’s rules and requirements.
- Discuss the client’s needs and objectives with the relevant adviser and senior paraplanner in order to complete any research.

**To prepare recommendations - working with the Financial Adviser/Paraplanners**
- Review Investment Portfolio and asset allocation by checking against risk profile
- Prepare information for analysis.
- Help to obtain information and prepare draft recommendation report ready for Financial Adviser/paraplanners.

**To implement recommendations**
- Ensure all compliance paperwork is in order.
- Act on any changes made by the client by updating XPlan records.
- Implement the chosen/agreed investment strategies.

**To undertake client reviews**
- Act as point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and other parties.
- Establish and build strong relationships with clients.

**What is Needed to Be Considered for this Role**:

- Previous experience within an IFA practice and Paraplanning is essential
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Self-motivated, with an ability to work and think under own initiative
- FCA understanding of regulations and products
- Knowledge of XPlan would be helpful
- Well organised and IT literate
