**Role**: Conceptual Designer

**Location**:London, England, United Kingdom (Remote - WFW (work from wherever)/London HQ/Old Street)

**ROLE MISSION**

Working in partnership with our client, the Conceptual Designer creates impactful crafted communications, smart ideas and develops design best practices. This role delivers a vast range of marketing and branded material; from campaign creation, social assets, identity, presentations, whilst also leading and mentoring other designers across the network.

**ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING**

Reporting to Group Head of Design

**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE**
- Working in a small high-impact creative team consisting of a mid weight designer, 2x copywriters and a Creative Director
- Leading the way on projects identified as opportunities to show our design, craft, conceptual expertise
- Help with any design emergencies across our network that need to be done right first time
- Mentor more junior designers
- Proactively produce playbooks, best practice, help organise training/events for designers
- Connect people, visit onsites, inspire and build our creative community
- Catalogue and curate our best design work
- Share know-how and best work across network
- Collaborate with team on ideation, creation, art direction and implementation
- Ability to articulate and present a clear rationale to accompany the work
- Keeping up to date with current design thinking and trends

**WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL**
- A well-rounded understanding of contemporary graphic design, exceptional typography with an eye for detail
- Understands business and client objectives with the projects, can interrogate a brief well.
- Conceptually lead, ideas first - graphic style second
- Strong working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite - Photoshop, InDesign,
Illustrator and After Effects.
- Self-initiated mindset with ability to manage their time and others time efficiently
- Passionate and curious about design & social media and understand the latest innovations
- Skills to lead and brief designers, offering constructive feedback allowing them to push the quality of the work.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment
- Strong communication skills - able to express themselves clearly and build relationships
- Proactive, positive, can-do attitude with a determined work ethic
- The ability to manage, mentor and develop other designers.
- 5+ years experience design/advertising/marketing environment sectors.
- High-level formal design education
- Experience in brand, social and motion
