A vacancy has become available due to progression within the service and Sunderland Community CAMHS is looking for an exceptional individual who is dedicated to work with children and young people and keen to take up this brilliant opportunity of Primary Mental Health Specialist.

We are looking for an individual who has the ability to both deliver high quality interventions, and develop the skills and knowledge of universal child practitioners in child and adolescent mental health.

Our Sunderland Community CAMH Service is a well-established innovative and creative targeted (Tier 2/Getting Help) child and adolescent mental health service.

The skilled individual will join a multi-disciplinary team in the development and delivery of interventions that identify mental health difficulties at the earliest stage, and facilitate the provision of services that promote resilience, and enable positive mental health. The service is comprised of generic and specialist Workers.

You will be required to have sound knowledge and skills pertaining to CAMH, and have extensive knowledge and leadership skills and be able to work autonomously as a practitioner..collaboratively with colleagues across a wide range of professions and organisations.
