Property Administrator

Barry Stewart & Sons Ltd, located in Barking have been established for over 40 years. Our property management department works closely with local authorities providing a variety of residential properties. We offer a comprehensive management service to residential landlords from the private sector, additionally we provide services to Landlords of serviced offices in London, Essex and Buckinghamshire.
**Responsibilities**:
- Dealing with void properties, liaising with councils, utility suppliers
- Updating the property database and accurate record keeping
- Liaising with and scheduling maintenance contractors
- Managing a portfolio of contractors
- Responding to client queries, processing standard template letters and communications
- Assist the team with other administrative and ad-hoc tasks and administrative duties
- Dealing with general landlord & tenant enquiries
- General office administration & filing
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience is required, ideally with a Managing Agent or a Local Authority
- Strong data entry skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
