UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT
Duty of Care Limited provides high quality care for children and young people with emotional, behavioural and social difficulties. We offer Therapeutic care for children and young people aged 8 - 17 years old. You will work as a Residential Care Worker atone of our three bedded residential homes that offers a safe, secure and fun family environment for young people in the care of the local authority.
We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and experienced Support Staff.
You will be responsible for supporting Children and Young People by engaging them in various activities such as horse riding, BMX club, days out/holidays, at home activities, cinemas, trampolining, swimming and any other activities identified.
You will also be responsible for supporting them with their education and health needs as well as ensuring that the home is kept to a high standard which will include housekeeping responsibilities. You will support the Deputy Manager and the Registered Managerin the management of the staff team.
You will also be expected to be IT literate in order to prepare relevant reports and you will need to maintain good professional relationships with young people, their families and external agencies.
