Lead Team Secretary

We are looking to appoint a highly motivated individual to cover maternity leave to manage our busy Admin Team as a Lead Team Secretary in the Child Health Centre at Wansbeck General Hospital.
You should be suitably qualified and experienced in secretarial work, as well as having experience of managing and allocating workloads to administrative staff. Secondment may considered.
The successful applicant will be required to oversee the secretarial, clerical and outpatient clerks working at Wansbeck General Hospital, Blyth Community Hospital and Hexham General Hospital.
As part of the role you will be required to plan, allocate and supervise the work of staff under your remit. You will also be required to manage attendance using Health Roster, complete appraisals, undertake return to work interviews and support the clerical team with the help of the Administration Manager. Further expectations of the post holder are included in the job description. You will also provide a comprehensive secretarial service to consultant(s) and their teams.
