We have a brand-new role for a Project Officer within the Behaviour Change Hub, delivering a dynamic portfolio of travel behaviour change initiatives, key to the principles of the Local Transport Plan. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will deliver the project management functions integral to the Hub's revenue-funded programs.

Working in collaboration with a team of Project Officers your role will span the mobilisation, delivery and evaluation of a group of projects. This entails establishing collaborative relationships, procuring services, ensuring completion of project deliverables, change control, and budget management. You will be tasked with robust reporting mechanisms encompassing scope, cost, time, and quality, working closely with colleagues to proactively mitigate risks. **This is a fixed term contract until December 2024. Please note, we can also offer this role as an internal or external secondment.**

**What you will be doing**
- Work with colleagues across the Hub and wider organisation to coordinate commercial, procurement and enabling services.
- Working autonomously, ensure timely coordination of project activities and take a pro-active approach to problem solving in relation to schedule, time and quality.
- Stakeholder communications, ensuring projects are progressing and deliverables are achieved.
- Support project level governance and monitor performance of projects.
- Establish and maintain the production of project level reporting ensuring accuracy of information and transparency of status/performance.
- Lead and chair meetings

**About you**
- Be able to demonstrate experience delivering projects, preferably for travel behaviour change.
- Experience of coordinating the delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Experience of implementing project controls, governance, and reporting.
- Experience of contract management through the procurement and management of suppliers.
- Good commercial acumen and understanding of project management methods and controls.
- Ability to establish and maintain strong working relationships.
- Excellent organisational, written, and verbal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrating agility, drive, and a solution focused attitude.
