**Role Overview**:
Working within the council’s ICT Service, you will join a skilled MIS team, working with all steps in APM (Application Lifecycle Management). You will be responsible for the support, configuration and maintenance of all software systems. Specific knowledge of managing, maintaining and developing Adults and Childrens systems are key to the role and integral to supporting the Adults and Childrens directorate. This role requires strong troubleshooting, collaborative and customer skills across various disciplines. You will provide deputy management support and a mentor for others in the team.

**Key Responsibilities**:
To ensure the delivery of a portfolio of ICT Services, in-line with all agreed SLAs, this role will contribute to service design and implementation with continuous service improvement in mind, particularly across adults and children services.

Be a key member of required resolver groups and technical resource teams in response to BAU service operations and scheduled change projects as a result of raised incidents, requests and problems.

With the support of the Principal MIS Team Lead deliver new functionality and carry out upgrades to existing solutions.

**Key Requirements**:
To succeed in this role, you will need as a minimum:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to effectively advise and support Lead
- Previously led or mentored junior members of the team
