**Position Summary**

Responsible for the ordering of supplies and appointing contractors for repairs/servicing. Follow through with suppliers/contractors to ensure on time deliveries/repairs/servicing.

**Role Responsibilities**
- Liaising with suppliers/contractors to ensure on-time delivery/repair, chasing of overdue deliveries.
- Maintain records in relation to all purchases/repairs/servicing.
- Supporting the Purchasing Co-Ordinator in Group-led Cost saving initiatives.
- Agree corrective and preventative actions to be put in place to avoid issues.
- Promptly communicate with key personnel regarding availability issues which could affect the day to operations and discuss/recommend alternative solutions to the problem.
- Provide departmental cover as needed.
- Ensure Health and Safety standards are met.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.

**Skills / Experience**:

- Previous experience in an Office / Finance / Purchasing position desired.
- Good oral and written communication skills and ability to demonstrate excellent attention to detail.
- Reliability, punctuality and honesty are essential along with a willingness to develop and progress.
