**Service Design & Transition Manager / Service Architect - active SC clearance**
**The postholder shall**:
- Develop service design across the portfolio, this includes Catalogue management; Availability management; Service Level Management; Capacity Management; IT Service Continuity management; Information Security management; Supplier management.
- Provide an assurance function, protecting the BAU estate and existing Service Management capability.
- Responsible for ensuring that the Service Operation is set up and in place. This includes: Event Management; Incident Management; Request fulfilment; Problem Management; Access Management. This also includes the review and setup of Service Desks, etc.
- Own and write the Operational Working Agreement(s). The purpose of this Operational Working Agreement (OWA) is to define the current responsibilities, service support processes and communications of all parties involved in the provision of the services.
- Provide cross supplier Incident, Problem and Change process integration.
- Working closely with the process leads ensure requirements are met for handover of service.
- Assist in reviewing and approving the Migration Strategy.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Understand, document and actively manage risks into service.
- Provide support to the Business Change functions, providing advice and guidance on implementation and deployment.
- Review project deliverables for quality and accuracy and enforcing standards.
- Capture and transfer lessons learned for ongoing Programme & Transition planning.
- Reporting progress to Transition Lead, Delivery Programmes and Programme Office
**Essential Skills and Experience**:
- The post holder should carry a minimum of 5 years' experience of working in Service Management.
- The post holder should be qualified in ITIL Service Transition and Service Design.
- The post holder should have experience of leading the Service Design and Transition on large programmes.
- The post holder must have experience in setting up the transition governance required to assure the delivery and output from the ICT Portfolio
