**Job Overview**

The Administrator role is primarily responsible for supporting the CIH team in the collaborative delivery of services and support, based mostly in the office at our premises at Ethelbert Road Surgery.

The role includes:

- supporting collaborative working across Canterbury
- supporting the PCN Working Group and the delivery of effective services
- supported the delivery of the Enhanced Access Contract
- helping to establish and maintain effective systems and processes
- providing simple reception services and support for staff working from our premises at Ethelbert Road surgery

The role will evolve and develop in line with emerging needs and priorities of services and the local system.

It will be necessary to have access to your own transport to travel between the practices and to be able to work remotely some of the time.

The Administrator is a new post and as such you will need to have a flexible approach and adapt with the role as it evolves. You will have excellent communication and facilitation skills to enable the collaboration needed to deliver services and support development at network level.

You will likely have experience of working in healthcare, probably in an administrative role; have well-honed organisation and time management skills; be able to demonstrate excellent IT skills including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher.

Team working is a vital part of this role
- have experience in analysing data, submitting returns and providing reports
- are familiar with EMIS Web including Appointment books, templates and searches
- possess the drive to see projects and tasks through to resolution
- have an interest in development and training within primary care

**Organisation Overview**

Canterbury Integrated Healthcare supports the 7 Canterbury practices and their PCNs covering a patient population of around 100,000 and we have worked together for many years

The local care vision in East Kent is for localities to develop a model of care that enables people to live as independently as possible by delivering high quality, person centred care that integrates hospital, social care, community and voluntary services around primary care networks of GP practices.

The vision for Canterbury is for the two PCNs to work together to achieve excellent patient care through integrated pathways accessed close to home via local GP practices.

The Canterbury PCNs will achieve this by delivering primary care at scale, including:

- Engagement from all practices within the City in the Integrated model of care
- Partnership working with other PCNs, NHS Trusts, community providers and the voluntary sector
- A comprehensive workforce strategy including engagement with the new medical school for Kent and Medway and the new Additional PCN roles.

We aim to work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and support organisations, to enable more patients to be treated in a primary care setting, closer to home.

**Role Responsibilities**

It is important to note that responsibilities will be varied and dependent upon CIH needs and this is not designed to be an exhaustive list.

The following are the core responsibilities of the role:
**General**
- Provide administrative support to the CIH team as required
- Provide administrative support for reports and data collation as and when required.
- Support in the delivery of Enhanced Access including:

- Uploading the appointment books to EMIS web
- Liaising with practices to support in the delivery of the enhanced access contract
- Ensuring the completion on data returns to the ICB and to feed into the quarterly performance reports
- Flagging any issues promptly to the operations manager
- Provide administrative support to the weekly integrated case management/MDT meetings.
- Maintain pages and information on the intranet - Agilio TeamNet
- Maintain up to date records of all staff IT access requests and maintain registers as required.
- To support systems and processes around the delivery of the PCN Impact and Investment Fund scheme.
- Assisting with the facilitation of meetings, including diary management, coordination of invites, agendas, and note taking etc.
- Be present and provide simple reception services for the PCN annexe at Ethelbert Road Surgery.
- Any other tasks and duties commensurate with the role
