Administrative Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated individual to join our friendly and dynamic research team. The successful applicant will have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills with the ability to work within a team and on their own initiative. The environment is busy with tight deadlines and a high degree of accuracy is required to provide an effective and efficient administrative service within the research team.
R & I is a proactive and forward looking department working in partnership with regional NHS Trusts and Universities and the East Midlands Clinical Research Network to support the delivery of clinical research within United Lincolnshire Hospitals.
- Processing and maintaining research documentation to include typing, photocopying, distributing and filing of documents.
- Managing office systems and maintaining databases
- Retrieval and tracking of case notes which includes lifting and moving records, boxes and use of trolleys as required.
- To maintain adequate levels of general and stationery supplies.
- Recording and entering data using various different electronic systems.
- Answering telephone enquiries from patients and professionals including liaising with staff within and external to the hospital.
- Adhere to Trust, Directorate and Departmental Policies including Health, Safety, Fire and Risk Assessment.
- Willing to embrace opportunities and undertake relevant training, developing skills as required.
