Keyworker - Supported Accommodation
**About Bristol Reach**
Bristol Reach are a supported accommodation provider for adults with learning disabilities, mental health problems and brain injuries. We aim to deliver quality homes and person-centred support that helps people to build confidence, skills, and independence.
We're looking to do things a bit differently, providing great quality support in an un-institutional setting. We do not aspire to be a giant care company, we want to deliver small, focussed and personalised projects that help people heal and progress.
**The vacancy**
The primary function of the keyworker role advertised is to coordinate and deliver meaningful support and activities for up to three service users living in a shared house. A key focus is to engage individuals with their peers and the local community, helping to tackle social exclusion and loneliness, and to support the service users in maximising their independence through skill building and support to access volunteering, training and employment opportunities.
A role with us means being part of a small, dynamic team which values fun and creativity as a core part of our support. We try to create an open, inclusive and supportive work environment, and we are committed to remunerating all our staff in a way that recognises the hard work, skill and social value generated by supporting adults to thrive in their communities.
These are some of the benefits staff members will enjoy at Bristol Reach:
- From 28 days paid annual leave including bank holidays (pro rata)
- Starting salary of £12/h, rising to £13/h after probation
- Contributory pension scheme
- Option to buy into company after two years
- Free / subsidised health and wellbeing opportunities including yoga and access to the headspace app
- Detailed induction programme, work plan and support when you start
- Being part of a vibrant and energetic organisation that values equality and diversity
- Ongoing training and development as part of your role and opportunities to learn from colleagues and other experienced professionals
In our most recent staff survey we asked:
- How would you rate your access to ongoing support at Bristol Reach (i.e. support and supervision, availability of managers, help with personal challenges, support from colleagues etc.)?_
Staff rated us: 5/5
