We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our North Bristol Families in Focus service as a Keyworker within the Strengthening Families team.

The Strengthening Families Team provides a service for families who are experiencing multiple and competing stressors where there is a strong possibility of a child or young person becoming a Child in Care, engaging in serious criminality or being at risk exploitation and serious violence.

Working within a multi
- disciplinary team, Keyworkers work intensively with the young person, family and wider network to re-build relationships, de-escalate volatile situations and create safety plans in collaboration with families and young people.

You will have a thorough understanding of the multiple issues experienced by young people on the edge of care /and or custody for example risks associated with criminal and sexual exploitation, low school attendance and anti-social behaviour.

You will be skilled at building relationships with young people and families, have good assessment skills and an ability to work flexibly and prioritise your workload.
