Internal Operations is a part of Clinical Supply Operations (CSO) in the Medicinal Sciences Global Clinical Supply (GCS) organization. Our purpose is to provide packaging solutions based upon a commitment to reliability, trust, confidence and ease of customer interaction to deliver quality packaged clinical supplies to the patient.

What You Will Achieve

The Packaging Coordinator (PC) Interfaces globally with the Protocol Lead - Supply Chain Leads (SCL) and/or Expanded Access Grant Leads (EAGL), Operational Strategy Lead (OSL), Clinical Research Pharmacist (CRP), and all other groups within or outside the supply chain required to bring a job to completion within Global Internal Operations.

The Internal Operations Packaging Coordinator acts as Project Manager to ensure that these activities are performed at Pfizer-internal packaging facilities within agreed to timelines and the final packaged output meets initial request parameters. The position requires project management, supply chain management, communication and collaboration skills.

How You Will Achieve It- Provide clinical packaging expertise to our stakeholders, while maintaining an organizational culture that values flexibility, continuous improvement and an agility to meet business needs.- Use Project Management skills to plan, schedule and assess risks to complete the job.- Manage multiple projects working with Internal Packaging Coordinators and Internal Packaging Technicians, local scheduler and master planner to resolve internal packaging operation schedule conflicts and issues.- Work with the operational stakeholders to review and interpret the clinical protocol to develop practical and efficient packaging designs for Clinical Supplies.- Work with other workstreams to co-ordinate and drive the progress of the packaging operation to ensure timelines are met.- Assess packaging requirements and procure specific materials to meet study needs.- Prepare packaging documentation and generate internal study documentation to support internal packaging operations.- Generate final release documentation and where appropriate carry out a final review of packaging documentation before submission to Quality Assurance.- Facilitate the use of the Clinical Supplies Distribution System for importing packaged inventory for distribution purposes.- Be compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)- Analyse and manage internal deviations in partnership with Quality Assurance- Review packaging and labelling documents, making recommendations where appropriate to ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures, study requirements and Good Manufacturing Practice.- Responsible for the review and maintenance of Electronic Record & Electronic Signature (ERES) assessments to meet Data Integrity requirements.- Coordinates the Global GMP Housekeeping Inspection Schedule.- Supports and maintain the change control systems within Internal Operations.- Supports the creation of COSHH Risk Assessments and Manual Handling Assessments.- Provide support to the facility periodic reviews and validation activities.

Qualifications

Must-Have- B.S. degree in a scientific discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience in Supply Chain or relevant field- PMP certification or demonstrated project management experience- Experience working in a GMP regulated work environment Nice-to-Have- Knowledge of clinical trial study designs
