This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced/qualified HSE Officer to join a global organisation on a permanent basis.

THE CANDIDATE:

- Experience in the Process Industry, Health and Safety, Quality, Environmental
- Experience in communication and cooperation with Environment Agency, HSE Auditing Bodies (ISO and Customer) and Consultant Partners
- Demonstrated ability of Day to day support of SHEQ processes across all Site functions
- NEBOSH NGC
- IOSH Managing Safely
- Relevant NVQ / City and Guilds

THE ROLE:
Compliance:

- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure compliance;
- Maintain strong and trusted working relationship with Regulator;
- Report regularly to stakeholders on performance;
HSE:

- Assist Site in implementation of risk reduction measure & in management of change processes;
- Assist in ensuring ongoing compliance with any relevant emergency plans;
- Q-Pulse data input, reporting and analysis;
- Support SHEQ communications and competency programmes;
- Support effective control of contractors;
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure that risks are suitably minimised;
- Conduct audits, inspections and safety tours with tangible improvements arising;
- Support SHEQ Manger in Human Factors programme roll-out, ensuring compliance with relevant H&S legislation & maintaining Site compliance with Company Policy and Procedures;
- Support Site in Investigation of Near Miss, Incident, Complaint and Accident reports;
- Support the Chemical Exposure Monitoring and Occupational Health Surveillance Programmes;
- Assist in ongoing compliance with Environmental Permits and legislation;
- Ensure compliance with EP discharge consent limits;
- Assist in Site ongoing Compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001& ISO 45001;
- Collect and collate Site data on Corporate Social Responsibility;
