Are you looking for a role where you can make a difference to the residents of Hull? As an Asset Planning Support Officer, you will play a key role in improving the lives of our residents.

**About Us**

The Housing Investment Service is responsible for the management and delivery of responsive and cyclical maintenance, planned improvement works and refurbishment schemes to a stock of 24,000 domestic properties, garages and associated buildings and surroundings. As a social landlord, we are particularly focussed on providing a tenant led service, based on individual needs to support persons living in our homes.

The service is structured around key delivery areas, with teams responsible for Responsive Repairs, Voids, Gas & Electrical Servicing & Repairs, Planned Improvements, Asbestos, H&S, Asset Management, Finance, Customer Engagement, Contract Support, Home Ownership and Claims. All teams work closely together to provide a uniform and consistent service for all our customers and stakeholders.

The Service is responsible for an annual revenue maintenance budget of c£27m and an annual capital improvement programme in excess of c£55m, both of which aim to actively keep properties in good condition to reduce disruption for our customers, whilst ensuring ongoing compliance with all relevant building, fire, gas and landlord regulations and associated legislation.

**The Job**

We are looking to appoint a motivated, enthusiastic Asset Planning Support Officer to work in the Asset Planning team. Knowledge of Housing is not essential however you will have good business administration experience and GCSE standards in English and Maths.

You will work as part of a team to manage the asset survey allocation, and issue resolution including property access procedures for our team of internal and contracted stock condition surveyors.

Accurate data and information is critical, so it is essential you have an eye for detail and can work to high levels of precision to ensure the condition data for our 24,000 social homes is complete, accurate and up to date.

You will have, experience of being first point of contact ensuring an extremely high level of customer care and tact and be able to work independently managing your own workloads, using your own initiative and judgement when required.
