We are looking to recruit 3 enthusiastic and motivated Project Support Officers to support the delivery of a variety of projects within the Optimisation Team - Medical Optimisation / Healthy Workforce / Programme Overview

The Project Support Officer will assist other project staff in ensuring the programme’s required outcomes are successfully achieved by providing high level project and administrative support to more senior members of the project team. They will be the first point of contact for many staff and will be required to provide support, training and guidance to other members of the project team, contributing to the development of procedures for their own work area.

The post holder would be expected to have a good level of knowledge and understanding of project processes and methodology and will be required to act as ‘configuration librarian’ by developing and maintaining the project library, databases and associated resource lists. They will be required to assist in project planning and the monitoring of plans to ensure projects remain on target, highlighting and escalating any issues and risks proactively.

The post holder will require a good level of interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with a broad range of stakeholders including senior members of the operational and project teams.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
