**Location**: Liskeard Office and travel across Cornwall & Devon as required.

**Salary**:£23,000 - £25,500 per annum

**Role Purpose**: Wildanet has ambitious sustainability commitments, including becoming a net zero carbon business and providing sustainability education for all colleagues. We need the support of all our departments and colleagues to deliver on these commitments, positioning Wildanet as a sustainability leader in the Alnet Community. To support this work, we have introduced the role of Environment & Sustainability Coordinator to support our managers in embedding sustainability into the core of what we do. The Coordinator will act as a conduit, putting department managers in touch with the relevant people across Wildanet (and external partners) to enable our managers to achieve more sustainable outcomes for Wildanet. The Environment & Sustainability Coordinator will be able to provide technical advice around sustainability issues and can help with the development of departmental specific Sustainability Plans. The Coordinator will also support the Positive Impact and Community Liaison Manager with community engagement where required.

**Main Responsibilities**: The role holder is responsible for supporting strategy development and driving this forward across projects and the teams within Wildanet, influencing decision making and best practice. The role holder is responsible for leading the delivery of carbon reduction, energy initiatives and ultimately working towards Net Zero Carbon. Alongside this the role holder will have responsibility for annual carbon foot printing, collecting and analysing company data, working with Wildanet’s carbon footprint partner to upload the data to its portal.

**Key Activities**:
While duties and responsibilities will vary, they typically include:

- Contributing to and implementing ESG strategy and sustainability best trends (Net zero, circular economy, social impact)
- B -23 and B Corp Accreditation - Working with stakeholders to deliver the programme and achieve and maintain B-Corp accreditation for Wildanet.
- Data management, collection, and reporting of the company’s suite of ESG metrics, with continued improvements implemented year on year.
- Performance reporting and ESG target setting. Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions reporting, with knowledge of scope 3
- Collaborate with appropriate departments to communicate the company’s environmental sustainability strategy, initiatives, progress, and achievements with colleagues, clients, stakeholders, and vendors
- Keeping up to date with sustainability related legislation and ability to advise and implement activities to meet legislative requirements
- Perform a baseline assessment annually for current practices and identify opportunities for improvement in environmental sustainability
- Contribute to establishing targets and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify progress on important sustainability metrics
- Analyse results on an ongoing basis to effectively audit progress and identify areas for continual improvement
- Contribute to policies and procedures for areas including materials and waste, sustainable procurement, transportation, energy, water, and climate, working as a key partner to policy owners
- Be an active member of an internal executive sustainability steering committee at the corporate level that will oversee and monitor progress
- Provide education about sustainability efforts during new employee induction and annual training
- Create and strengthen partnerships with the vendor community to develop and implement new strategies for effective and efficient means of providing equipment, services, and supplies that minimise greenhouse gases and reduce the environmental footprint of the supply chain
