Special needs teaching assistants for special needs school Bristol

Axcis Education are currently recruiting for a specials needs school in Bristol that are looking for support staffing after the Easter holidays. These can be either full time or part time, depending on the needs of the children and the funding as to which the school have available for each student. The school based in the west side of the city cater to students with severe learning difficulties and autism. The school largely cater to primary ages, but cover across the ages from 5 to 18. This work will see you work the basic school day of 8:30- 3:30, Monday to Friday and term time only.

The school have a well established autistic provision and amenities that you will only find in more specialised provisions. We are looking for applicants that have experience in working with special needs. This can be from either supporting children previously or adults. Whilst school experience would be certainly great, its by no means essential. We really are looking for special needs experience. There may be elements of personal care, so we are looking for people that would be happy and open to doing such tasks when students require it.

An enhanced DBS on the update service is required to work with children.
